A great many BMWs pass over our dyno every week. Here we have one of the most common engines for an upgrade: a 1,600cc four-cylinder diesel, with slightly more headroom than its successor, the 1,500cc three-cylinder.
In stock form it measured 122ps with 276Nm of torque. With Stage 1 it reached 153ps with 361Nm of torque.
