We love engines that are detuned from the factory. BMW / Mini do this often, and the big winner is the owner who bought the "small" version for less. This two-litre engine is offered with 112 and 143ps.
The heavy all-wheel-drive Countryman needed something extra; 112 hp is unfortunately not enough.
In stock form it measured 112ps with 280Nm. With Stage 1 it reached 192ps with 396Nm of torque.
