Renault's 1,200 TCe engine has found its way into Dacias in recent years. It runs smoothly and is fairly economical, with good headroom for improvement through a remap while always keeping its reliability.
In stock form it measured 105ps with 160Nm of torque. With Stage 1 it reached 143ps with 223Nm of torque.
