Countless 1,800 Kompressor engines have been over our dyno. Today's SLK 200 had a German 62mm pulley fitted and came in for its remap.
On the first run we found that the previous owner had activated a speed limiter at 165 km/h, so the 4th-gear pull could not be completed properly; hence the low figure of 155ps.
We carried out our remap, removed the limiter, and the engine now produces 208ps with 287Nm of torque. Many thanks to the SLK R171 Club GR for choosing us.
