Volkswagen Polo GTI AW 1.8L TSI 192ps

We had done a Stage 1 on this car in June 2023, in the middle of a heatwave with temperatures of 35+, so naturally the result was not what we expected. But it whetted the owner's appetite for something more. So a downpipe with a freer-flowing 200-cell catalyst was fitted and the car was remapped again for 100-octane fuel. Temperatures this month dropped to reasonable levels and helped produce a better result; in January the numbers would be even higher. Stock: 182ps / 235Nm. Stage 1 (95 octane, high intake air temperature): 219ps / 333Nm. Stage 1+ (100 octane): 238ps / 355Nm.
