One of the many 1.8 Kompressor engines that have been on our dyno. Mercedes rates it at 163ps and 240Nm. Before the remap, with a smaller pulley already fitted, it measured 156ps. With only a pulley the ECU usually compensates, and in practice the car gets worse.
With Stage 1+, a K&N filter and 100-octane fuel, this perfectly maintained SLK reached 212ps with 295Nm of torque.
