//Notes
The Peugeot 208 with the 1.6 HDi was offered in 75, 100 and 120 hp versions, with the first two differing mainly in their factory calibration. This 75 hp 208 went on our dyno and showed 80 hp and 209 Nm stock, and 130 hp and 293 Nm after the remap, a gain of +50 hp and +84 Nm. The difference really shows in everyday driving. From the very first acceleration the car becomes much livelier, more flexible and more relaxed, especially when overtaking and on uphill roads. The 1.6 HDi has proven to be a particularly reliable engine, while the 208 is an economical, enjoyable and very marketable car.
