Ford Focus Mk4 1.5L Diesel

Today on our dyno, a latest-generation Ford Focus MK4 1.5 Diesel. In stock form it measured 120 PS and 280 Nm. On this Focus the ECU cannot simply be programmed through the OBD port. To remap it, the ECU has to be removed from its location in front of the wheel, inside the wheel arch. The ECU comes out, it is programmed, it goes back into the car and then it's onto the dyno. If the measurements show that something more is needed, the process starts again from the beginning. The final result: 153 PS and 350 Nm. From 120 to 153 PS and from 280 to 350 Nm, a gain of +33 PS and +70 Nm.
