Volkswagen Golf MK5 1.4L TSI 140hp

A very well-kept Golf 5 1.4 TSI 140hp visited us, with a true enthusiast owner and a car in excellent condition. It had already been remapped by another tuner in the past and was running without any problems. However, given the hardware fitted to the engine, there was clearly room for something better. When it came to us in early August, the dyno measurement showed 206 hp and 304 Nm. We carried out a new calibration, tailored to that specific hardware and the car's real needs, with a final result of 226 hp and 324 Nm. The very high temperatures of the period did not allow us to push further. For us, though, the aim is not a big number at any cost, but a correct, safe and repeatable result, with smooth curves and respect for temperatures and engine operation. The Golf left stronger, fuller and with a calibration made specifically for this car.
