//Notes
From the first models to the most modern, the GTI name carries a long history, combining a unique driving feel, performance, excellent grip and the joy of driving. The Volkswagen Golf 5 GTI featured here, in completely stock form, visited us for a Stage 1 ECU upgrade. On our dyno it produced 202 hp and 285 Nm, essentially confirming the factory specifications. After the remap, output rose to 248 hp and 396 Nm. This Stage 1 was done with a mild philosophy, focusing on torque and engine response so that the car becomes even more enjoyable in everyday driving. This GTI will soon return for the next stage of tuning.
