//Notes
Another successful remap, this time on a Seat Leon 5F 1.6 TDI 105ps. In stock form, the real dyno measurement showed 100 hp and 238 Nm. After the Microchips Tuning remap it reached 145 hp and 315 Nm.
The difference in driving is impressive: much better acceleration from low revs, full delivery across the range and much easier overtaking, without sacrificing engine reliability.
It is worth noting that many diesel cars no longer produce their factory figures. Diesel quality affects the injection system, while a DPF loaded by constant city use or interrupted regenerations increases exhaust back-pressure, hurting both performance and fuel consumption. That is why we recommend that those who drive mainly in town regularly take a trip outside the city, so the engine reaches proper operating temperature and the DPF can clean itself effectively.
Every calibration we create is based on the actual measurements of each car and adapted to the engine's condition, with full respect for reliability.
