Ford Transit 2.0L TDCi 105ps

Modern Ford Transits with the 2.0 TDCi engine have proven that they combine reliability, economy and durability in tough working conditions. The factory calibration, however, leaves significant room for improvement, especially for those who use the vehicle daily with a load. This Transit measured 105 ps and 315 Nm on our dyno, matching its factory specifications exactly. With the Microchips Tuning Stage 1 remap it reached 165 ps and 445 Nm. In practice this means much better flexibility and pulling power from low revs, fewer gear changes and more relaxed driving, especially when loaded, better behaviour on hills and when overtaking, and more efficient operation that can help lower fuel consumption. As with all our work, the calibration was developed with reliability and long-term engine durability in mind.
