Ford Fiesta ST MK8 1.5L EcoBoost

Do you have a Ford Fiesta ST 1.5 EcoBoost and see 13–14 L/100 km after a remap? We know exactly what's going on. This car arrived already remapped, with the main complaints being high fuel consumption and horsepower that had been promised but simply wasn't there. From the first pull we found the problem: lambda was far too low and the engine was running permanently very rich (λ ≈ 0.82), even at idle. That means excessive consumption, 'bogged-down' running in everyday driving and long-term risk for the engine and catalytic converter. As it arrived, it made 221 hp and 303 Nm. We restored the ECU to factory software, where it measured 203 hp and 293 Nm, confirming a healthy baseline. With a proper calibration of the fuel maps and the engine management as a whole, the final result was 255 hp and 380 Nm, with smooth, clean running, the correct mixture in all conditions and normal fuel consumption.
