//Notes
If you've driven a Mini Cooper F56 John Cooper Works, you already know what a proper chassis means: sharp steering, tremendous grip and the feeling that the car runs on rails. Then comes the Mini John Cooper Works GP, which changes the game. It is not just a fast hatchback but a thoroughbred track tool, set up from the factory to be pushed to the limit. Under the bonnet, BMW's well-known two-litre engine, proven and reliable for years, produces 306 hp from the factory. In this case, with a full exhaust system, we measured 309 hp and 44 kgm of torque. With our remap the result rose to 342 hp and 490 Nm. An already sharp track weapon becomes even more explosive, with strong acceleration across the range and power that goes straight to the road. The GP is the closest thing to a race car you can have with number plates.
