Mercedes-Benz CLA 180 C117 1.6L Turbo 122ps

This Mercedes CLA 180 1.6 (122ps from the factory), as with many of these engines, always makes a little more. Depending on the software version, we have seen up to 150hp in stock form. On the factory software it measured 140 hp and 225 Nm. We then carried out a Stage 1 remap for 95-octane fuel, focusing on a safe increase in power and torque while keeping reliability and smooth running. The final result was 176 hp and 306 Nm. The difference on the road is immediately noticeable: fuller low-end delivery, better in-gear pull and clearly quicker acceleration across the rev range. Mercedes' 1.6T has significant tuning potential when the calibration is done right.
