BMW Serie 5 G30 B48 2.0T plug-in hybrid 292ps

It had been a while since we last posted a car, so we decided to start strong with one of the most powerful packages: a BMW G30 530e. It is a hybrid system combining a petrol engine and an electric motor, which we have worked on many times before, and every time the result impresses us. The well-known B48 2.0T produces 184 ps from the factory, which together with the electric motor gives a system total of 292 ps and 420 Nm (on torque, as always, we measure them slightly higher). With a classic Stage 1, output shoots up to 396 ps and 765 Nm, an extra 30 kgm of torque, completely transforming the car. The feeling on the first drive is simply jaw-dropping.
