Mercedes-Benz CLC 200 1.8L Kompressor

We had upgraded this Mercedes CLC 200 1.8 Kompressor a few months earlier. With a 62 mm pulley and our calibration, it went from the 170 ps measured in stock form to 203 ps. The customer then fitted a full exhaust with a tubular manifold and a 200-cell catalytic converter, and with a new round of fine tuning we reached 215 ps and 294 Nm (Stage 2). Unfortunately the automatic gearbox shifts early and doesn't let the engine rev out to 6,800 rpm, where we usually calibrate these engines. With a manual gearbox or control over the shift points, it would easily make another 10 hp.
