BMW's three-cylinder B37 diesel engines come in two versions, 95ps and 115ps, differing only in the mapping.
This Mini, with 95ps from the factory, passed through our hands and left with 142ps and 325Nm of torque.
It now has the punch and response it was missing, especially when overtaking or climbing a steep hill.
