Every week we take on diesel BMWs for Stage 1 remaps, with absolute priority on safe improvement and long-term engine reliability.
Before any remap we carry out a thorough check. If we find any fault, we immediately inform the customer and their workshop; we never proceed blindly. On this BMW X4 everything ran like clockwork.
It measured 188ps / 404Nm stock and with the Stage 1 remap took off to 222ps / 495Nm. More power, better response, a safe result. That's what a proper remap is.
