This F40 did us a favour: it was built before June 2020, so it could be remapped. We've said it many times and will repeat it for those who may not know: all BMWs and Minis from June 2020 onwards are locked and cannot be remapped.
There is a solution, but the cost (over 2,000 euros) is out of proportion to the gain they can get, so it isn't worth it.
It measured 136ps with 220Nm of torque stock, and 177ps with 272Nm with Stage 1.
