Hyundai's 1.0 engines now go head to head with the 'Europeans', and may even be better with supporting mods. But even at Stage 1 they run very well, with low fuel consumption in daily use, as their owners tell us.
Here we have a 2020 Kona with the 120ps engine. We fitted a filter in the factory airbox for a little 'extra' and did our runs.
Stock: 122ps / 182Nm. Stage 1: 146ps / 240Nm. The remap was done for 95-octane fuel.
